The care that I receive from St.Michael’s Dental Care is second to none. From the minute you walk in you are greeted by friendly & smiling receptionist in a warm & relaxed atmosphere. Suriita Kershaw is an expert in her field as a Dentist. She is kind gentle gives good advice has time for you & listens. Her dental work is first class & you feel relaxed under her care. Her nurse is friendly & welcoming too & they are a great team working together. Brilliant hygienists there as well & I would highly recommend this Dental practice. They are “Simply the Best”.

The hygienist was extremely thorough, but also very conscious of my anxiety. She gave me two useful pieces of advice as to better use dental brushes. The follow on appointment with the dentist was equally useful. I was very impressed with the team- as a nervous patient. Highly recommended.

I was scared of the dentist from my previous dentists and at 43 I have had the hygienist once at my previous dentist in my life! I joined St.Michaels and have visited the dentist once and the hygienist. I am now at ease! What a different experience. I’m a talker and nervous but they put me at ease, answered what I asked and seem to have wiped all the irrational fears I had previously. I now am not dreading the work I need to have done. Both were so much better than before dental trips for me. Can’t rate them higher. Great service and care xxx

I have been abroad in COVID for over 2 years 2019 to 2023 and the practice had been passed to a new partner, and alas I was deregistered as i did not seek dentistry till 2024, but that was quickly dealt with by the very efficient receptionist and an appointment was made for me next day, on my arrival I saw the head partner who was very efficient and a good sense of humour, I would say perfect for children and those of us who are not completely comfortable in a dentist chair, fortunately I do not suffer from that fear, but there is still time, I was given at my request x-rays if my teeth and condition, and was told exactly what was required to bring me back to a good set of teeth being it some are replacement crowns, I was given a quotation of costs involved and a caveat that it may change if unknown things arise on my program of teeth rehabilitation, the cost estimate was reasonable, my first appointment was today 10/9/2024, i was early but was catered for sooner for a hygienic process, which I found was surprisingly pain free and carried by very efficient professional staff with a good result, ready for my first major visit on the 25/9/2024 with the head partner, I have found that it is worthwhile traveling from faversham to Maidstone to see a well run and efficient dentist practice with a reasonable cost, as it's just not a chair it's way beyond that in these costly times, and parking to that's a bonus, so give st. michaels a call next time you need a practice that looks after you with heart & soul, best regards Toni hodgKins

I have been attending St. Michael’s for around a year now, under the care of Matthias Schmidt and can only say hugely positive things about Matthias and the Practise as a whole. The staff are fantastic and very attentive, I could not recommend more highly. They make you feel at complete ease each time you attend and Matthias always talks through in detail what he is undertaking etc. which is great as someone who hasn’t always enjoyed going to the dentist!Thank you team!

Dentist are certainly not my favourite place. But I almost look forward to going. Lovely staff always welcoming ,polite, with a smile. Dentist aways makes me feel relaxed and explains everything to me. To be honest don’t think they could do much to improve .

Until visiting Matthias, I think it’s fair to say that a trip to the dentist would possibly have been right at the bottom of my wish list. He takes the time to listen to you, to discuss your treatment and explain every step, no matter how small, to put you at ease. No worry, fear or concern is belittled, and as a result a once dreaded event is now a far more comfortable experience. If dental trips are your worst nightmare , I highly recommend you visit Matthias and the team at St Michael’s. They never fail to go that extra mile to help, support and treat you with a ‘nothing is too much trouble’ approach.

Having had numerous dentists over my sixty odd years I have found this surgery to be quite exceptional. My experience as a patient at this dental surgery has been nothing but good. Sarita is a very professional and skilful dentist and is always very kind, calm and considerate of patients needs or worries about dental treatment. Nothing is forced on you and absolutely everything is clearly explained. I recently had two large fillings which were so skilfully done that I have not even been aware that they are there, they just feel like my own natural teeth. I have no hesitation in recommending Sarita and St Michael’s Dental Surgery.

Always, always, always a 5* experience.But, today especially the clinic went above and beyond- I was anxious about the hygienist as I have sensitive teeth and he put me at total ease and numbed my teeth. So sympathetic and kind. I then went to my dentist and he went above and beyond and changed the shape of a filing for me.I have been going to this dentist for 25+ years and it just keeps getting better and better. Such knowledgable and kind hands. Thank you to all staff involved who provide such a wonderful service - even to us scardy cats! 😍❤️

Recently joined this dental practice and was made to feel so welcome from the get go by all of the staff. Everything was explained and they checked in regularly throughout the procedure to ensure I was ok. Has definitely regained my trust, especially after a bad previous experience at a different place. After a great deal of heart searching I finally had the confidence to proceed and have a tooth, that had been causing problems for several years, extracted. I arrived at this dental practice back in July 2022 following having lost my NHS dentist of 36 years! I initially stayed at that same practice as a private patient, as their private rates were highly competitive, but they seemed unable to deliver the service with repeated cancellations over 6 weeks. St Michaels dental practice was near to me and having read their reviews I thought I give them a go. I was not disappointed, I was initially treated by the then owner Dr Sally Anne Roberts with a backlog of dental issues and since Sally has sold the Surgery and is there much less often now, I now see Dr Eman Lavasani.This practice is quite a small practice to my previous dentist that had 2 x Receptionist's on Reception with telephone headsets, but the service is certainly very much more personal here.The practice seems to be modern equipped and is kept clean and tidy, they seem to be always progressing, with in recent times offering a new online booking service that I was able to book an appointment upon just before midnight when I suddenly thought I must book that check up.Finally it is easy accessible with Maidstone West Railway Station 10 minutes walk away and regular Arriva bus services No: 3 to Maidstone Hospital and No's 6 & 7 to Tunbridge Wells that stop nearly right outside the door. Some car parking is available on the forecourt or otherwise free on street just 2 minutes walk away in St Michaels Road.

The receptionists, especially the dentist assistant are friendly. Both the dentist and her assistant showed great care to me during the whole procedure. Everyone is nervous about dental treatment and I am not an exceptional one but my concern was unnecessary. I experienced zero pain during the treatment which really ease my worries.

I have been a patient of this Practice for many years and it has always been a most professional and friendly Surgery in every respect. My recent visit was no exception. The dentist was welcoming and checked my history and current situation thoroughly. He gave me advice on potential future treatments that might be needed, so I felt in complete control. The hygienist was equally welcoming and most professional, as was her new assistant who was charming and efficient. At no time did I feel rushed. I would recommend the Practice to anyone looking for a new Practice, or to make a change.

Empathy , Care , Consideration, Expertise, Professionalism, Patience and did I mention Care! From start to end the Care taken to ensure that you are informed and comfortable is off the scale and I have a considerable experience of Dentists and this team is by far the best. The extraction was performed with such calm and skill - thank you to the Dentist and Nurse for that . Weird thing to say, but I’m looking forward to seeing them all again. Matthias and his team go out of their way to make visiting the dentist relaxed and enjoyable. That may sound strange, a patient enjoying a visit to the dentist, however the atmosphere in the surgery helps you to feel relaxed and forget any phobias.If you are a nervous patient or are looking for a first class dentist I would highly recommend giving St. Michaels a call.

I found this dental practice, very proactive and helpful with my quite urgent request with my one year-old. I was able to get an urgent paediatric referral which is going well.The team at the surgery were very friendly, very knowledgeable and very helpful. Although I do not live, particularly close to this dental practice, I will happily travel for their services.

Dr. Schmidt and his team are welcoming, professional and efficient. I am a very nervous patient and although I have been attending this practice for years my visit today was amazing. I saw Matthias who was quite literally incredible! So kind, so patient who took the time to explain everything (a check up) in a manner that was both professional yet calming. I even had a small filling (cosmetic) which I had been putting off for so long because I was scared. Matthias gave me the confidence to have it done today, I'm beyond happy with it. All the staff at St. Michael's dentist are amazing from the receptionist when you first arrive to the hygienists and the nurses. They put you at ease and are all super friendly. I cannot recommend this practice enough, try them they are all amazing! 🌟

Was very apprehensive when our usual dentist who I’ve been seen by for many years changed her hours and more so for my daughter who Sally saw since she was 6 months old to now nearly 5 years old. We saw Matthias for our recent check up and instantly felt at ease as did my daughter. Very friendly! Having had a bad experience at my previous dentist I was very nervous.But everyone at St Michael's dental care where very friendly and professional as soon as i walked in the front door and everyone is very happy to help.Sally was very kind and gentle and explained everything she was going to do I think this was the first time I have been to the dentist and didn't have any pain.We talked through what was going to happen and I didn't feel rushed.I felt I was in good hands and could ask all the questions I needed but most importantly I was made to feel relaxed and reassured.Sally and her team were very empathetic and patient towards me.Thank you all.
