Children’s teeth require special care and attention, especially when they are extremely young and start learning how to brush their teeth themselves.

At St. Michael’s Dental Care, we work in partnership with parents to care for children’s teeth; from their milk teeth to their first adult teeth, to treat childhood decay and pre-teen orthodontic issues.

At every stage of your child’s development, their teeth and gums are growing and changing. We recommend bringing your child to see one of our friendly team as soon as their first tooth comes through and definitely by the age of 12 months.

We’ve created a relaxed and friendly environment so that your child feels safe and at ease during their treatment and gets used to the dental instruments and noises.

As they get older, we provide child-focused dental examinations and services such as fluoride treatments, fissure sealants and so on. Our team will also help them to learn how to care for their teeth independently.

By learning about dental health and its importance from a young age, we hope to encourage children to enjoy positive dental health for many years to come.
